According to newspaper investigations there is. Los Angeles has great voter registration. 101% of eligible voters. What are you saying, Bilious? That 101% of the number of registered voters voted? That 101% of those eligible to vote, whether or not registered, voted? Sometimes there are perfectly legal, logical, and reasonable reasons for these anomalies. Can you think of any? The real issue is voter suppression, especially of minorities and the poor. No, they have more registered voters than the population can supply. And 100% voter registration seems to be a dream, as look at all the effort to,get people registered. Your logic is illogical. Are you claiming the number of registered voters exceeds the population? That doesn't seem logical. However, it is easy for the number of registered voters to exceed the statistical estimates of what that total should be. Registered voters who move from the district rarely tell the registrar they've left the area, and, of course, the dead don't report they are now in the ground or in a vase on the mantel, eh? They still vote. How many votes from the cemetery? As usual, when it comes to this sort of commentary, ya got nuttin'. Go back to sleep. |

JFK took Chicago with more votes than were legally possible. |
