We might actually have the highest percentage of those infected in the developed world before this is over and you can blame it on our freedom. Americans tend to do exactly what they tell us not to do. I said a week or two ago. if they wanted to keep those people over in Broward in their homes, they should have announced a mandatory evacuation. Then people would have locked themselves inside and said "we ain't going". New York is no better. They locked down the city but they left the airports open, so anyone who could, got on a plane and scattered across the country. When they land, it is "scout's honor" that they will quarantine for 2 weeks. Yeah right. This virus is going to spread and I don't see how we are going to stop it. The best we can do is try to protect ourselves. We have to assume everyone we see is infected and every surface is contaminated. |

Not anymore, they are coming to an airport near you. Planes leaving New York are fully booked from what I hear on the news. |

She spends the winter with her sister in California. Figured air travel would shut down and not be able to return home. Said there were 33 people on the flight and thinks from the talk most were airline employees. So those full flights from NYC are very likely being Coronavirus Petri dish. |

Bill
- show quoted text - “Our friend who lives in DeKalb, IL just flew home. She spends the winter with her sister in California.“ Sure can’t blame her for that... |

I have to wonder, how many of those have the New York, Broward County Florida connection? In both cases the place was "locked down" and those good hearted democrats scattered into the wind, taking the virus with them. The New York Broward connection is already well established and the New York explosion started right after "escape from Ft Lauderdale". It may all trace back to a cruise ship or two and maybe the AIPAC conference. Our first death on the SW coast was a woman coming from Israel and Egypt and she brought it with her. BTW she presented with stomach problems, no breathing problems at all until they dunced around treating her irritable bowel syndrome for a few days. |
