A betting game

Listening to the leader of the left pack, Nancy Pelosi,
it's obvious what Dems are counting on.

They have nothing to lose. They are making a big deal
out of the push to restart the economy by Trump, hoping
upon hope that it backfires and causes a resurgence of
covid-19 cases. If that happens to a significant
degree, Trump is toast in November. They will go on
the attack reminding everyone that they said the
economy should not be restarted until the entire
nation was tested and covid-19 was gone.

I am sure that even many Dems privately recognize that
relaxing some of the "stay at home" recommendations
in order to get the economy going again is as important
(if not more so long term) than the containment of the virus.
It's a balancing act. However, Trump's focus on
the economy presents them with the perfect political
strategy for his defeat in November.

I was also thinking about Biden and his running mate
selection. He has already committed to picking a
woman.

If he and the Dems were smart they should pick
Tulsi Gabbard. Of all the potential Democrats,
she would receive the most support of Independents
and even some Republicans. If he chooses any of the
others (Warren, Harris, Klobuchar, etc.) the political
division of the nation and voters doesn't change at all. Republicans
are going to support Trump and Dems are going to support
Biden.

Tulsi Gabbard as his running mate could swing the election
in his favor.

I think Trump is hurting his chances of reelection with every nightly briefing
he holds. He's continuously making an ass of himself. Last night my wife even
got tired of it after the first twenty minutes.

I hope Biden picks Tulsi, because I think the more Trump talks the more he helps
Biden. And if Biden gets elected, I can see Tulsi becoming president not too
long after.

Worrisome.

I agree. Trump's daily Task Force press conferences have turned into
political rallies. He is only hurting himself.

Maybe he really doesn't care if he's re-elected. Wouldn't surprise me.

It's "worrisome" if Trump isn't re-elected? Delicious. The return of
decency and government competency to the White House
is "worrisome" to Trumpsters.

Trump should continue his daily political rallies on TV. If anyone is
still watching them, they show how awful and incompetent he is, and how
little he knows.

Ha ha ha...No serious Dems want Tulsi. She is a GOP?ers candidate. The Dems
see her as a tool of the GOP.

This Luddite guy is a wacko. More obvious every time he posts.

The only thing that surprises me is why it has taken so long for
people to figure him out. There are reasons why no major US bank will
do business with him. I hate to say I told you so but...

....I did.

If that's the case, I wish he'd step down now. I'm thinking we'd have a better
chance with Pence.

That might be a bit short sighted. Your party needs a slate with
strong centrist appeal if you really want to win it. Running loony
tunes leftists (like yourself) would lead to another Hillary debacle.
