I don't see many of Herring's posts, but it is Biden's stated goal to have a million Americans vaccinated a day. I favor him doing whatever is necessary to achieve that goal. Further, I favor those who are inoculated being issued some sort of photo ID that indicates they have been, and that those who do not get inoculated and have an ID be kept out of public places, such as restaurants, sporting arenas, public pools, libraries, schools, et cetera, *unless* they have a serious, documented medical condition that precludes vaccination. We need a national plan, nationally implemented. The states are showing they do not have the wherewithal to get everyone inoculated. In the mid-1950s, when the Salk vaccine became available, every kid in New Haven went to the nearest public school for the shots, and I mean every kid. The inoculations were provided without charge, and those doing the injections were school nurses, doctors' office personnel, and hospital personnel, all of whom donated their time to help rid the city of new cases of polio. I've always believed in mandatory vaccinations and in the exclusion of kids from public schools who don't get vaccinated unless they have a serious medical condition that precludes it. Being "anti-vax" is not an acceptable reason. -- Bozo Binned: Herring, Bert Robbins, JackGoff 452471atgmail.com, Just-AN-Asshole, Tim, and Gunboy Alex, aka the Gang of Dull, Witless, Insult-Tossing Trumpsters. |

Those devices were relatively new when I was in. In order to boost our confidence, the corps man would periodically test the device by slicing a leather belt. And he would say something like, "This only happens if you move". |

Around here, at least two of the supermarket chains have full pharmacies and the pharmacist on duty does flu, shingles, and possibly other inoculations. They have been trained on how to inoculate. But they are not set up for doing a large number of inoculations a day. The armed forces have lots of trained personnel who can inoculate and there is no reason not to use them. Inoculating is not a posse comitatus issue. I am sure military personnel in this country would appreciate the ability to perform, if properly protected, a direct public service that would be greatly appreciated. -- Bozo Binned: Herring, Bert Robbins, JackGoff 452471atgmail.com, Just-AN-Asshole, Tim, and Gunboy Alex, aka the Gang of Dull, Witless, Insult-Tossing Trumpsters. |

And once again, you demonstrate your ignorance. What ignorance? Biden is already stating he is raising taxes. And he and his party are complaining about getting out of the Middle East. Seems as if took a Republican to get us out of Vietnam, in 4 years, is a non .Democrat POTUS finally going to,extract us from the quagmire? Restoring corporate tax cuts and raising taxes on the wealthy ($400,000 + a year) is reasonable. Decades of data shows that trickle-down only results in golden showers. Isolationism is a stupid national strategy for this country, Who pays those corporate taxes? Decades of Democrat ruling, has given us billionaire high tech executives who support the Democrats as they let them get away with paying themselves excessive salaries while letting them hire foreign workers at less than the going rates for degrees engineers. While there are unemployed AMERICANS with the same degrees. Harry still thinks Buffett, Cook and Bezos pay those corporate taxes out of their cut. It just shows up in the price the consumer pays which makes them very regressive. That is not saying much for someone who thinks he is so progressive. Seems as if most Progressives these days are like Harry. Financially stupid. Why should they care? They don't have to be responsible for anything. They should care as they are the ones helping pay the taxes. If most of them are like Fat Harry, they do Not pay taxes. Oh, they do pay the corporate taxes. They are included in the price of the product purchased. Got me there. |

I doubt those guns work with this vaccine and there are some procedural issues when you are vaccinating civilians. In the military, you signed all the papers you sign and gave consent for them to do anything they want to do to you before you got to boot camp. The people best equipped right now are the pharmacies. |
