I wonder how many of them had papers.

How non-empathetic and Trumpian of you.

Hard to be empathetic when they shove 20 people on a little boat like
that and decide they can make it. It is no wonder we have all of these
"Bermuda Triangle" myths when people do stuff like this.

Actually, I doubt libertarians can be empathetic. Kinda runs contrary to
libertarian beliefs...

I guess we actually believe in Darwinism.
Bad **** happens to stupid people and wringing your hands over it only
gives you chapped hands.

Oklahoma gave 13% to a libertarians in their governor’s race. Shows the
contempt people are, having for the two major parties.

With 20 people on board one of these, there was surely something fishy going on.

Good question.

Even 70 and 80 footers are reluctant to cross the Gulf Stream on a day
with strong northerly winds. The seas can be unbelievably large,
large enough to be easily seen from 35,000 feet up. An overloaded 29
footer would have little chance of surviving a crossing like that.

I remember the size of my 27 ft Chris Craft and on a calm lake, 10 people on it was plenty for any kind of comfort, let alone safety....
