Just to inform you of a new group I've formed - details as follows...

This is a forum for like minded boaters to exchange information and
ideas on the operation, maintenance, experience and enjoyment of
DownEast and Express style cruising yachts.

The primary focus for this group is to draw together people who enjoy
the fine craftsmanship of well built power boats, while also
appreciating whatever the destination may be and the ability to get
there in reasonable time.

Emphasis is placed on four main criteria.

1) The craft of the boat as a thing of beauty is appreciated - be it
wooden, fiberglass, or exotic composite.
2) The cruising speed of the boat is something above 15 knots.
3) The range of the boat is at minimum 200 nautical miles.
4) The boat is not used as a floating weekend home, rather as a vessel
for exploration and travel.

It is my hope that this group will attract people who enjoy both the
trip and the destination. Who embrace an adventurous lifestyle
whenever possible.
