used boats
I've seen several 30-31 foot 1985 era Sea Rays for sale. Most have had many
updates- but are these prices too good to be true? Do these models hold up going on 20 yrs? |
Do these models hold up
going on 20 yrs? If well cared for, yes they frequently do. That's the key on a boat of that age. No builder can put so much quality into a boat that some ignoramus couldn't pretty well destroy it in a couple of decades or less. Well cared for, properly stored, serviced, maintained, and repaired- there's absolutely no reason to assume that such a boat *couldn't* be in decent or better shape. When you get down to a "finalist", have a surveyor check it out to confirm (or refute) your good opinion of the craft. |
