Default 77 johnson 70HP, replacing power pack, which coils?

77 johnson 70HP, replacing power pack, which coils?
Looking at side of engine, is coil 1 = top, coil 2 = middle, coil 3 = bottom?

YES... but replacing the power pack, you do not need to know this - just
swap the wires from old to new.
