One can only hope that slime such as Fritz find themselves in dire need someday, only to be turned away so they suffer inordinately because of their disregard for their fellow man. Two weeks ago, we encountered a 30-something fellow who could not find a dentist or a dental society anywhere in his area of the Pacific Northwest who would see him regarding some terrible dental pain he had been having. He presented a list that included three dental societies and 23 dental offices he called for help. The list was legitimate. He's been Bushed out of his job, he has no money, and his community has no funds for dental care for a fellow in his circumstances, and General Welfare is a thing of the past. What did he do? Using a pliers, he yanked out three of his teeth. Himself. In any other modern "Western European" society, and in many other less-wealthy societies around the world, he could have received decent dental care without spending weeks searching for it. You really have to wonder sometimes about the hole this country is going done, and whether we really are worth it anymore. -- We today have a president of the United States who looks like he is the son of Howdy Doody or Alfred E. Newman, who isn't smarter than either of them, who is arrogant about his ignorance, who is reckless and incompetent, and whose backers are turning the United States into a pariah. What, me worry? |

I only found out that he did it, after he had already extracted my wife's wisdom teeth...or I wouldn't have let him near her. Something's not right with anybody who would do that to himself. Next time you run into a guy like that, tell him to call one of the local dental schools. The work is first rate, but takes a long time and there's usually a lot of appointments. It's ideal for people who have more time than money (the unemployed, retirees, etc). I had patients in dental school that used to drive 2 hours for their appointment...but we always did the work for free, or for a very nominal fee. Nevertheless, I find it impossible to believe this guy's story that 3 local dental societies turned him down. His story just isn't credible. My best guess is that he's been pegged as a "drug seeker" who, every weekend, calls the next dentist on the list for a narcotic and an antibiotic...and then doesn't show for the appointment on Monday because his tooth is feeling better by then. |

He's not the brighest fellow around, but he did indeed contact all those dentists and three country or city dental organizations. His sad tale was vetted. Fifteen of the dentists' offices' receptionists remembered talking to him. And turning him down. Dunno if he tried or found a dental school Apparently unemployment in the Pac Northwest has emptied the coffers of social service agencies. The work is first rate, but takes a long time and there's usually a lot of appointments. It's ideal for people who have more time than money (the unemployed, retirees, etc). He was in real pain, he said. Nevertheless, I find it impossible to believe this guy's story that 3 local dental societies turned him down. His story just isn't credible. Sure it is. It was checked out. Carefully. No, he's just a poor soul who is out of work, destitute, looking for work, but in terrible pain, so much he yanked his own teeth. Life in America under the Bush-**** Administration. You'd better not fall through the cracks...because there is no safety net. -- We today have a president of the United States who looks like he is the son of Howdy Doody or Alfred E. Did you and your doctor doctor wife, meet the indigent on your Lobster Boat?
What was the poor indigent from the Pacific Northwest doing in Maryland? Why was he walking around with "list" and showing it to people he bumps into? Why didn't you help the guy with his problem? You certainly can afford to help him out. Do you really expect anyone will believe your story? .. wrote in message ... How many names have you used Basskisser? If being a dolt was the criteria
for changing names, you would have to change yours daily. Whenever I install new software I use a different name, since I do not use my real name I don't worry about it. Is Basskisser your real name or is it Jim Dandy? "basskisser" wrote in message om... "Taco Heaven" wrote in message news:uIp6d.279178$Fg5.229546@attbi_s53...
