Default Engine w/ No Use !!

I am looking for suggestions as to what i can do with my perfect 5hp
engine. It is off an old snowblower and only 1 year old. The blower is
shot and I find myself w/an engine. I would like to use the engine on
something, anything, If anyone has any ideas, for fun or work. . . . .
It is a horizontal drive. I work as a handyman for myself so have the
ability to do many things with it once i have an idea or two. Thanks
in advance.

This is suppoosed to be a boating newsgroup. Leave work out of
this. :^) Actually I don't have a boating idea, but it sounds
like it might be suited to a go-cart. Wait, that's it, perhaps
a floating go-cart with paddle wheels. :^)

You will have to post this in another group for a real answer but if it is a
"snow king" engine it may not be suited for used during the summer months.
The best suggestion would to find yourself a good snowblower with a bad
engine and then change the engine. Then you can sell it and get yourself
something useful...

good luck,
mark

Run an alternator / generator? You could generate maybe 30 amps DC with
that.

I was going to say make a wood-splitter, but
a wood-splatter sounds like more fun ;
