They say truth is the first casualty of war.

Make that war and politics.

Sad how so many, and more on one side than the other, tend to automatically
believe all those things that sound exactly like what they want to hear, rather
than looking into all claims.

It's sad how the process of choosing an executive now automatically includes
the consideration of which candidate tells the
worst lies, the most lies, the biggest lies, the most frequent lies, and the
more damaging lies. Weren't there some "good old days" when there was still
some shred of doubt whether one candidate or the other in a two party race was
any sort of liar at all? If so, they're long gone from the American political
scene.
