Liberals come in all shapes and sizes, just like people who aren't liberal. Come to think of it, most Hollywood movie stars are pretty liberal. Do you consider those folks "fugly"? It is mildly funny that Herring spent most of his work career hiding out in the military and the rest of it faking being a substitute teacher, and yet claims that liberals "can't get a job." Most of the liberals I know have done far more with their lives in terms of societal and personal acocmplishment than Herring. From whence came this? Are we in a different thread here? The paragraph you quote is critical of Suburbia, a place, and some of the conditions commonly encountered there. Cities, the last bastion of simpletons, drug addicts, prostitution, grime, pollution, and democrats. Would that be considered critical of those who live in cities? ps - I do not endorse or agree with the description of cities. Why not, you've nailed Washington, DC. Before I even opened that link, I already knew what those folks would look like...and the pictures didn't disappoint. Liberals definitely have a strong case of the fuglies. And they wonder why they can't get a job! Look at this broad: http://www.sorryeverybody.com/upload_files/se26.jpg She's a pretender. She's wishing she lived in a red state. John H Perhaps you ought to move to the redneck part of Virginia, Herring...after all, Kerry racked up huge vote totals in Fairfax County, Arlington and Alexandria, where you live and work, besting Bush by more than 75,000 votes in those jurisdictions. And I'm not whining, ranting, and raving about the religious fanatics who voted for him! He deserved every anti-Bush vote he got. Have you seen any complaints from me, Harry? I'm not planning on moving because Fairfax County went Democrat. John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay! |

Cities, the last bastion of simpletons, drug addicts, prostitution, grime,
pollution, and democrats. Would that be considered critical of those who live in cities? Yes, but it isn't even remotely similar to my comments about Suburbia. Had I said, "Suburbia is the home of uncultured, self righteous, Limbaugh listenin', hysterical fundies..." *that* would have been critical of Suburbanites. However, you will have to agree that I didn't say that. |

It is nice to see you don't believe any of the stereotypes people might
