WE JUST BOUGHT A 71-72 GLASTRON/CARLSON CV-19 JET BOAT WITH A 12JC-A
BERKELEY JET DRIVE. THE CURRENT MOTOR IS A 455 GM MOTOR THAT HAS A BUSTED BLOCK. WE WANT TO PUT IN A FORD 460 (THEY WERE AVAILABLE FROM THE FACTORY WITH A FORD 460) AND WERE WONDERING WHAT PARTS ARE NEEDED TO CONVERT AND WHERE WE CAN GET THESE PARTS(MAYBE USED?) thanks in advance for all your help! Happy New Year!! |

Parts are still available. One thing you shoudl consider is that parts for
the chevy big blocks are way cheaper that the 460's. Not that they are better or worse. IMHO I would not convert unless I had a 460 on hand. "www.mhmarine.com" wrote in message ...
