I have received a couple of issues of "NCboatinglifestyle" magazine.
It is a pretty decent publication considering its cost... free.

The last issue came with a card that said that I don't have a free
subscription yet..... because I haven't requested it....... just being
a registered boat owner is not enough...... blah, blah, blah....

A registered boat owner? How did they know that? Anybody else get
one of these? Has NC Wildlife sold their mailing list?

I would guess that your state has sold its list of boat owners who
registered their boats in the state to the magazine, and that it picked
your name up off that list. It sent you a few copies out on speculation.

Default Question for NC Boat Owners

Greetings Gene,
It really is NOT that hard to get a copy of all the registered boat owners
in any area. Some years ago I was looking at a towing company.....as part
of my reserch I called....XYZ (Name left out).....and requested a copy of
the registered boat owners in NC. 20 minutes later I had an attachment on
an e-mail ready to go.

I might also add IF yours is a DOC vessel then you can actually search it on
the internet through the USCG site. Boat Name or Number gives you Name
address and Contact info.

Default Question for NC Boat Owners

Started getting it and my neighbor around the corner said it showed up at
his house. We're both in N Raleigh. Must be from the wildlife list. I have
not noticed any solicitations asking me to start paying for it but I just
glanced through the first copy and took the second to the lake house and
have not looked at it at all.
