Default New to this group

Hi, my name is Ed and im new to this group. I was wondering if there is
any way to block some of the posts in here. Im tired of reading about
the fighting that seems to be going on in this group and would just
rather block those individuals then reading the flaming that goes on. I
join this list in order to learn about boating and have enjoyed many of
the posts that are on that subject. I will appologize ahead of time if
I have offended anyone.

Thanks
Ed

What newsreader are you using?

You need to set up a kill file, and filters...let us know what reader you
are using, and we will take the garbage out for you.

Welcome.

Depends on what newsreader you are using. Some are easier to set up
than others.

Look under the tool menu, options menu, etc., or go to the help
section of your newsreader to find out how. If you need more info,
just ask - several of us have different readers and can probably help.

Good luck.

I used to allow folks to use my woods for hiking and stuff, but the
damn mountain lions and cougars kept eating them for lunch. Then
there was the incident with the griffin I made in my basement genetics
lab. It was a combination of pterodactyl dna I found in some Egyptian
amber and a Siamese Cat my wife had.

Damn thing ate an entire group of Cub Scouts on a over night camping
trip. I had to scramble to cover that one up, I'll tell you what.

Did you really make one of these?

Cool!

Did Harry really change his address to:

Weird things happening around here! I've never seen the buffalo herd
in Maryland, but I suppose I just haven't looked hard enough. Bad news
about the Cub Scouts, but they don't let gays in, so they probably
deserved what they got.

Welcome.

We've had our feuds before, (mostly due to killfiles :-) ) but didn't
you spot he's an AOLer on Google Groups so cant killfile :-(

If you care to talk him through getting and setting up a newsreader
please dont post your killfile :-). OTOH if you tell him to KF HIS
CHOICE of the posters genereting the most gas without an engine to put
it in I'll be clapping at my keyboard when I read it.
www.individual.net is a good place to start.

You've been suckered by our resident Thai pedicab puller/sushi delivery
boy, Tuuuuuu,,,k or someone trying to emulate the twerp. Ain't me.

It's not me either - it's my evil twin. It's hard telling us apart
because we have the same name.

And we look alike.

And live in the same place.

And have the same family.

It's tough being me.

Probably not. I suspect we've been spoofed.

Ah - well, actually, there is a buffalo herd in Brooklyn, CT. No
joke.

As to the Cub Scouts - no loss. They would have probably all turned
into juvenile delinquents anyway. Or pedophile priests.

Damn Cub Scouts.
