Default New diesel inboard design for Glacier Bay Cats

(this should be particularly well received by folks in the southern
hemisphere) :-)

From today's e-mail

I am sure you're building an amazing new boat tour schedule for
Miami, but would like to add one more to your schedule. We have been
very busy out in Seattle this year and have built a Cat industry first;
a diesel inboard with a twist. The complete running gear is protected
via a full keel and the design is very, very slippery/fishy. Our 22"
diameter prop runs in a special pocket behind and above a full sand bar
attached to the glass keel. It took some effort to work the details
and engineer what amounts to a huge pocket for the large diameter prop,
in a Cat hull where the area above the prop becomes 90% pocket. Most
boats would have pockets that make-up 7%-8% of the aft running surface,
a much simpler task.

This full keel design gives an unusual combination of protection from
debris and running aground. The alterative designs used by other
builders are far less desirable (i.e. unprotected shafts, short lived
stern drives, or inefficient jet pumps which are prone to internal
marine growth).

Our new design uses a very slight ten degree (10=B0) prop shaft angle
with all the underwater gear tuned with an aggressive attitude toward
speed and efficiency.

In our early testing, with the brand new Twin 380HP Cummins common rail
engines, shows top speeds of 34+ MPH and exceptional fuel efficiency
ranging as high as 1.8MPG, and cruising efficiency at 27MPH is 1.47MPG.
This is 40%-65% better than the very efficient 4 stroke outboard of
last year.

The back deck is huge and comes standard with a 7' transom Fish Well
(24" X 26"), aluminum backers for a Fighting Chair, 47 gallon bait
tank/prep center and More!

We plan to have the boat available from February 16th-22nd.

Cant' wait to take you out in this powerful racy Cat, so please call
me or Dawn Fuller to schedule some time on the boat.

Nice invites...you going to Miami?

***************

No, I'm on an industry list. It would be nice to have the luxury of
time to go to Miami, but as cook, bottle washer, deck swabbie,
roustabout, driver, busboy, dung hole digger and general mad scientist
of a regional enterprise on a very tight schedule I don't see that
happening.

They build the boat about 35 minutes from my front door, so I won't
have far to go to see it once the show is over. It would make a good
feature for later this year.

krause

You said the following today,,

'''''''''''I've never called Tuuu,,,,k's ISP.

Further, the standard way to file a complaint about "spoofing" is to
submit one of the offending posts with complete headers. Anyone who
looks at the headers of Tuuu,,,,k's posts will see the address of his
news posting server and the name of his ISP. Both are different from
mine. Tuuu,,,,k does spoof my online name ID.

And, further, there would be no reason for me to convince an ISP that
many of Tuuu,,,,k's posts *were* threatening towards me. His posts speak
for themselves.'''''''''

You called my IP provider several times,,, its on record krause,,, lol,,,

The Miami show is a wonder to behold, really and truly. I've been a couple
of times, and I've never gotten through all of it. It is in several areas
of Miami. You want to go on a trade day, which, of course, you could dol
