interesting that posting the political opinions of others in a boating

As to my boats -- I suppose if you count whatever floats as a boat i have
7 at last count

1 (supposed 2 man) Coleman inflatable -- carried in my Irwin
1 4man sea eagle (also in Irwin, but soon to be sold)
1 4man Achilles
1 coleman 2 man riged dingy (in the rafters of my garage)(wanna buy it?)
1 17' Doral (vintage 196? I'm trying to restore
1 22' Crestliner
1 28' Irwin

No, I already own an 11 foot Achilles wrapped up in the attic for now.

And yes, due to my wife's medical condition we sold our 32 footer.

I never denied I was without a boat for now. Where have you been? Look
some more and you will find what I have owned over my 25 years of boating.

Why are you trying to make this discussion confrontational?

Where do you boat?


At the risk of inciting (exciting?) a stalker, I boat mostly on Lake
Ontario -- the Genesee river, and an occasional excursion to one of the
many small lakes around here
What type of boating do you do?
None last year due to heart surgery -- I have a power boat new to me
this year, with the intent of doing the Erie Canal, and seeing if I can
still handle my sailboat -- end of the season I will sell one or the other

How is the restoration
on the Doral going?


Postponed for a while because of health -- I need to paint it, pit the
trim back, mount the OB, and controls, and rebuild a bulkhead.

How long have you been boating?

60s mostly canoes and kayaks then -- got my first "big" boat in 84 (20'
Ensenada)

BTW: Sorry to hear about your health. I hope you get back on your feet

A word of advice: Stay away from the political discussions. They could be

I'm supposed to increase my heart rate at least 3x/week -- so 3x/week I
go to the YMCA for S&S (sweat and Suffer) sessions. political
discussion is much easier
