I'm looking to replace my old clear glass bowl type fuel filter for my
Volvo AQ130C 4 cylinder 130hp I/O engine with a modern day canister type water-separating fuel filter for which, hopefully, filter elements will be easily obtainable for the upcoming years. Any recommendations on something under $50? TIA! |

Any recommendations on something under $50? Under $50 ?? You're joking, right? For a Volvo? You may be able to find something on Ebay. I highly recommend Racor filter-seperators, especially a twin mount so that you can switch to a clean filter without shutting down. I'd also recommend the 50gph size or smaller, you don't need a 900 for a 4 cyl 130 hp. Fair Skies Doug King |

GASOLINE.... NOT DIESEL... The Sierra should work fine. BTW... the
racor filters are NOT USCG approved for gas engines... No filters with plastic or glass viewing bowls are. If they were diesel, then sure... spend the money but not for gas.... Mfr# 18-7852-2 Looks like the same unit with some manufacturers gimme thrown in. |

Hard to believe they give you two filters AND the bracket for less $$ than one filter and the bracket, but it looks to be so. |
