Default ( OT ) Pope Laid to Rest -- Bush Booed

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20050408/D89B82DO0.html

Extract

President Bush sat on the aisle in the second row, next to his wife,
Laura. Beside them were French President Jacques Chirac and his wife,
Bernadette. The two presidents shook hands.

When Bush's face appeared on giant screen TVs showing the ceremony, many
in the crowds outside St. Peter's Square booed and whistled.

"...and whistled"

Whistes are usually a favorable response.

Polls consistently show Bu**** is held in lower esteem around the world
than even his tanked numbers in the USA now indicate.

You try soooooo very hard to put a favorable spin on Bu****...

Harry, you should know better than to think good policy and popularity are
connected! Clinton had opportunitys to do the right thing but declined
because it wasn't "popular". That makes him popular but a less than stellar
president. (Still much better than Carter)

So? That proves absolutely nothing other than some folks there liked him
and some did not. And many probably remained silent as this was not the
proper time to express ones likes or dislikes for the man.....it was, after
all, the funeral for the Pope, not a poltical rally.

Have you watched the olympics or any other international competition in
the past 30 years? Whistling has always been a "boo" for Europeans.

Jim,,
Besides your poetical cut and paste trolls, what have you contributed to the
NG.

Anyone can visit web sites, pick out articles that are designed to **** off
50% of the readers in rec.boats.

It does not mean you are contributing to the NG, you are a major reason why
this NG is in the crapper.

A good clean up that was sadly needed cause asshole like you spread ****
everywhere.

Interesting that you and Ralf Smtherrs post the same comment at the same
time, in the same newsgroup.

You don't like my stuff -- learn to use a filter.

Relax, I'll be the *******. Give me a chance. This is rec.boats, not
wrecked.boats. Only a few of the assholes that spew their **** need a taste
of their own crap.

Just like Jim, he thinks he contributes (in his tiny little mind) and
therefore has the right to post what he pleases whether it is Off Topic or
offensive. WRONG! There is a newsgroup etiqutte to follow. If they can't
follow it they are Fukheads. I can call a Fukhead a Fukhead.

"I can call a Fukhead a Fukhead." Especially from an Anonymous-Remailer
