Default re upholster back sun deck / seat, advice? ? ?

I have a 94' chaparral with a rear seat / sun deck in one (like most
chaparral's). Since it's over 10 years old the seams are coming apart
mainly on the sundeck part where the different color vinyals meet, and for
the past two season i have sewn them by hand, it's getting to the point
where it will probably be best ot reupholster the entire thing. Does anyone
have any suggestions as to how to go about this? Any specific locations
that would do this and not rob you? Any shortcuts ? ??

Thanks! !

Not sure if it helps, but I needed to get new covers for my boat so I
just went down to the boat dealer and asked who they deal with. Then I
went to that vendor and got a pretty good price I think. So you might
want to try a local boat dealership.

Any automotive upholstry shop in your area can do this for you. You will
need to take the back sundeck off and take it with you to get estimates. Go
ahead and take the whole deck in so they can install the new one and make it
right. If they just try to use the old cover as a template it will probably
not fit right.

I had two '95's. Sold them off, but not because I needed money to pave
my long driveway.
