I forgot to say, it was on my 36' Zimmerman.

We made our trip to Crisfield in a leisurely 2.5 hours,

The engine was only running on 2 cylinders?

went ashore for
a while and poked around,

Cant give you any details, becuase I actually never really went
ashore.

and then did a little fishing around Tangier
Island.

I found this island on a map.

Tied up at a crab pier and went ashore for lunch. Lots of crab
shacks still around, but they weren't too active today.

I called around.

Something I
didn't know: the graves of Tangier Islanders are above ground, just like
in New Orleans, and for the same reason: high water table.

I found this out on the internet.

And the main
mode of "motorized" transportation on the island is old golf cards.

I saw a post card once.

We caught a few stripers without trying very hard, and a handful of
bottom fish.

Cant tell you what kind of bottom fish because, well, you know, this
whole boat trip thing is a lie.

Drift fishing and casting to structure. At least we didn't
have to troll for them.

I found this on the internet too. I sure hope no one see thru my
effort to prove I really do boat.

Did it sound convincing?
