Looking for a prop for a Force 507F90C
The current prop is starting to get a little beat up and I would like to relegate it to being a spare. The numbers on the prop are 287 - 11 1/2 and in another place it says 102 3. When I looked on-line at places like Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops I couldn't figure out which prop to buy since they clearly show pitch and diameter, but not the numbers I listed above. If possible I would love to find a good stainless steel prop for this motor. If not I'ld like to know if there is soe other good performing prop I could use like a Com Prop. Alas if all that is available is another identical aluminum then that is what I will go with. It pushes the boat it is on adequately and turrns exactly the right RPMS at WOT with a full load. -- Public Fishing Forums Fishing Link Index www.YumaBassMan.com webmaster at YumaBsssMan dot com |

Bob, the Force propellers usually came in 1/2" configurations whereas
other props were configured in whole numbers. That's why you may not find a direct replacement elsewhere. The 287 number was only used by Force as their part number. I don't recall stainless props being available for that engine and I would not put the Comprop in the good performing category. Good luck and good boating, Jim Bob La Londe wrote: Looking for a prop for a Force 507F90C The current prop is starting to get a little beat up and I would like to relegate it to being a spare. From what I can gather you are correct. I guess I'll just get another
aluminum prop for it and send the one I have off to be tweaked & repaired. -- Public Fishing Forums Fishing Link Index www.YumaBassMan.com webmaster at YumaBsssMan dot com "Jim Brinson" wrote in message .. .
