I b'lieve I'll just play a few hours of hooky tomorrow morning to catch
Big Creek of Stokes County, NC, and make it in to work by around noon. Then, for the weekend I'll hope to catch two of these: 1) Little River, TN (Smoky Mountains NP) 2) Big Laurel Creek, NC (French Broad trib., near Hot Springs, NC) 3) White Top Laurel, VA (S.Fork Holston trib., Damascus, VA) Little River is a bit too high right now, Big Laurel looks about perfect, and Whitetop Laurel hasn't come up yet. Guess who will be watching the gauges like a hawk! -Richard, His Kanubic Travesty -- ================================================== ==================== Richard Hopley Winston-Salem, NC, USA rhopley[at]earthlink[dot]net Nothing really matters except Boats, Sex, and Rock'n'Roll rhopley[at]wfubmc[dot]edu OK, OK; computer programming for scientific research also matters ================================================== ==================== |
