They offered over 1,000 in medical personnel and medical supplies as well as
other supplies. Yes according to what I have read, Castro offered his help right after the hurricane and as of today we have not responded to his request. The least that I felt our government could of done was thank him but decline it if we in fact didnt need it. "PocoLoco" wrote in message ... Bush probably doesn't realize that Cuba is in the Caribbean, and may have a
bit of experience with hurricanes. "ed" wrote in message ... They offered over 1,000 in medical personnel and medical supplies as well as other supplies. Here is the link that mentions that we have not responded to Castro offer
which he has offered 3 times now http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/news/arti...06064509990001 Ed "PocoLoco" wrote in message ... Just my opinion Ed Castro did not accept our help when Cuba got hit last year... just fyi That's true...but what a perfect time to show who is the 'bigger man'. Castro has to be mellowing out at his age and if the US played it right, I'm sure he'd come around a bit. You know half of those doctors from Cuba would end up defecting to the U.S. and that would add another problem. Castro is a communist, and I am not sure about you, but I personally was affected by the commies when living in eastern Europe, and I would tell you right now, given the chance, I would kill that SOB even if he was trying to help us. Communists are the only thing worse than left wingers. |

But, I'm honest. I don't care if the FBI's reading my email. I want 10 minutes in a room with Nookular Boy. His sitters can search me and tear down the walls if it makes them feel better. I don't want weapons. I'll even give him an edge - he can have some movie-bar fight stuff, like an empty beer bottle and a bar stool. I don't want him dead. I just want him to leave with two thirds of his teeth missing so his visual image fits all his other characteristics. It would help if there were a couple of rusty pickup trucks on the front lawn of the White House. Maybe NB could call his wife "sis" during photo ops, too. |
