Harry,
You see Smithers everywhere you look. You used to blame everything on the
people from rec.jetski. I am glad you have a new person to blame.

Got another question for you, Chucky, how would you respond to a
rather
short chubby fellow sporting either a Greek fisherman's or

the NW? How would you feel about that fellow if you gave him a
positive
response to his request and he failed to check out the only two boats

a

Naw.
Is Skipper back from the dead?

If this is a genuine "Skipper" post, then he suffered a stroke and as a
result his writing got really sloppy. Skipper was never a good writer,
but he was competent one, and his "style" was more formal than the
example posted above.

That's why I asked. Your background helps you to ID someone based on
their writing style. I'd need to see their teeth...or at least their
radiographs. ;-)

Well, I've been wrong a few times in my life. This reborn Skipper writes
more like Smithers.

Harry,
The IP and ISP match skippers last known address. As always you are wrong.

When he was here, all you said was you wish he was hit by a bus and he
should leave the NG never to be seen again.

It looks like he posted some specific information that perhaps only the
2 of them knew.

Chuck may not agree with the description of the 'broker'.

Well, it would be nice to see Skipper around here again. He's several
rungs up the ladder from the right-wing slimeballs around here, and a lot
more fun.

What to hear a bizarre coincidence. Yesterday I drove downtown and
noticed another movie setup...the big white trucks...lots of people etc.
One of the props was a police car with 'Wichita Police' on the door.
Now we've filled in for various New England towns/cities numerous times
but Wichita Kansas....that's too much. It did make me think of
'Skipper' though.

Not much more than likely to be
anything other than a clone of Dave Mann, aka Skipper.

Yes...if this is the 'real skipper' and he can convince us he is, I'll
give him a 'pass' for a month...no matter how crazy or wild his posts
become.
I'll be my little 'welcome back' present.

Don,
But to be honest with you, anyone who has been around could answer the
question, even though you tried to be sneaky. It is obvious from the post,
that even if it is not Skipper, which I believe it is, they would be able to
give you the correct answer.

Skipper resumed posting in this

changed his handle several times.

Why don't you just come out and blab the answer. I was hoping to play
on Skipper's vanity.

Don,
The ISP and email address were the same as the old skipper. The Newsgroup
server was the same he used to use. The IP matches the ISP listed.

He listed info that only Chuck would know.

I doubt this is anyone but the real deal.
