Opinions on best 22 ft. Bay boat
 

Dan,

You are asking about Bay boats and you want to know if John's Proline is good in
the chop? A Bay boat is a hybrid between a flats boat and an offshore v-hull
(best I can tell). You have to decide what kind of fishing in the Gulf you plan
to do. I was in the same spot a few years ago and I'm glad I went for the
deeper "V".

I would check the area for marinas that sell, and service, Suzukis and see what
boats they sell. They would be the best qualified to rig your new boat and they
would be able to handle all of the service (boat and motor) in the future.

I love my Proline 21'er. I think they're a little cheaper than the Grady's.

choose.
