How'dee,
Anyone know of a web site that has a schematic of trailer bearings and or replacement instructions? Just curious really. I've replaced bearings three times now and it really sucks when it's out on the road. We're heading to Sumberland key/Ramrod Key in a couple of weeks and plan to inspect the bearings this weekend. How often do ya'll recommend replacing bearings as maintenance or is it based on conditions when inspected? It's a single axel trailer that gets pulled 60 miles to the ocean about every two weeks. Or...do you just wait until they spin and change them then? I've got Buddy Bearings in and pump (15-20 times w/marine grease) them up until the seal is all the way out. It's a lot of grease! Any advice and horror stories would be appreciated CB |
