Water in cylinder
I've got a 4.3 GM V6 in my boat. I pulled out the spark plugs and water
came out of one cylinder plug hole. This is the first thing I've gone to it this year. Is my motor junk? |

Not necessarily, it may just be a head gasket. Did you check the
compression? -- Bill Chesapeake, Va "Ron K." wrote in message ... I've got a 4.3 GM V6 in my boat. I pulled out the spark plugs and water came out of one cylinder plug hole. This is the first thing I've gone to it this year. Is my motor junk? |

Well, if the engine is 4 or more years old, it's probably a manifold or
riser issue. As far as finding water in the cylinder, I'd tear it down. What I would do to it at that point would be determined by how much money was in my pocket. "Ron K." wrote in message ...
