He doesn't need to call as he already knows it *is* Skipper. He's just
demonstrating his basic honesty for the group.

Eisboch,
Do you feel the OT cut and paste have been a major contributor to the
political bull****?

Lloyd; You may as well decide to start a buggy whip factory. The era of
the internet forum has come and gone, killed off IMO by the search
engine.

Good observation, Chuck. I had not thought of that. Rec.boats used to be
a
depository of boating experience and helpful information. Now-a-days it is
an outlet for political bull****.

You don't have one of the best records when it comes to getting it up.
Many of us remember your twirl with The Boats of Rec.Boats and the early
pull out.

Good work, Psuedo. Right away with the personal remarks. That should go
a long way toward resolving your expressed concern that the group is so
far OT.

IMO, the remarks WERE on topic and accurate. His bailout of the
Rec.Boats photo site was abrupt and motivated by peak. His pure
abandonment allowed a spammer to take it over to promote his commercial
site. What did you find inaccurate in my remarks?

Accurate, Shmackurate Psuedo:

Lloyd posts that he is thinking of starting a forum for the Canadian
West Coast- something that wouldn't concern your sorry bee-hind on even
a single day of the year. However, what are you then compelled to do?
What is that you simply cannot resist doing? Why, it's make a bitchy
personal remark. Surprise (not)!

One could respond to every one of your posts with a long litany of
Skipper and Psuedo Skipper faux paus and foolishness in the NG......but
why bother?
Why make bitchy personal remarks an issue that doesn't concern you
because (1) you are not a boater and (2) except for charter fishing
down in the Gulf of CA on somebody else's boat, you rarely ever
ventured off the duck ponds of KS?

And then you wail that people are taking the NG off topic. Oh and
what's the other line? "Some people don't know the difference between
having something to say and having to say something". Others don't know
the difference between a useful, on-topic contribution and a bitchy
personal remark.

Note this this will be a forum for WEST COAST CANADA, with some

And THAT rules out virtually EVERYONE on this board, except Chuck.

I'd say that would get rid of all the childish name-calling and
politics.

That quite an enemies list you have there Lloyd. So, if the only member
of this forum that would be invited to attend your coronation is that
lying architect of personal destruction, Chucky. Why didn't you just
send him an email?

BTW, why is it you have no comment about my factual observation that
you
abandoned the Rec.Boats pitcher site out of peak and put very little
effort into it?

Out of peak?

Peak?

Hehehe.

Definitely not Skipper.

Maybe the real deal is vacationing on Pike's Pique. :-)

Instead of constantly playing this little game of yours, just call him and

I'm not sure this directly concerns you, JimH- but based on the long
list of things this character has called me in the last few weeks I
think "Psuedo"
is pretty tame.

Besides, even if it is Dave Mann, (and it could be), he was never
anything but a Psuedo Skipper in the first place. Out of about 100,000
posts to the NG, a few hundred were boating related and those were
usually some bizarre comment that Bayliner built the best boat in the
world......(Even Bayliner doesn't make that claim).....or some bad
advice about turning a boat into a floating bomb by lining the gunwales
with portable gas cans. The rest were personal insults and remarks,
lists of right wing "talking points" from national radio shows, and the
occassional racist and/or anti-semitic comment.

As you well know, I don't go around looking for trouble but I am loathe
to put up with a guy dogging me through the NG starting attach threads,
posting funny pictures, and flaming every comment- on topic or not.

Sure it does. Did you already forget your whopper of a lie when you
repeatedly accused me of being Skipper?

So why not put this crap to rest and call the real Skipper?

Let me assist you with one of the subtleties of the English laguage:

There is a difference between a lie and an observation:

A lie is a statement known to be untrue when made.

Example: "Chuck posted my home address and phone number to the
newsgroup! It was listed on that ad that he linked! He knew it was
listed on the ad, and that
was the only reason he posted it, to "out" my address and phone number!
The only reason it doesn't appear there if you check it now is that I
went into the website and edited the ad so my address and phone no
longer appear!"

When the ad never contained a home address and a phone number, and
there was no editing as claimed, that entire story qualifies as a
"lie". (As you finally admitted when explaining that you had been
"cornered" by your original false statement that the address and phone
number appeared in the ad).

Example: When "Skipper" reapears after a long absence and launches an
attack post with a line that reads,

"What do you think of this little gem?" and then brackets a quote with
a series of +++++++ marks top and bottom- and then when you use the
same opening line and the same brackets to offset a post several days
later, voicing a suspicion that JimH and Psuedo Skipper might be one
and the same is not a lie, it's an observation based on publicly
available evidence.

IIRC, somebody in the midst of that discussion said that opening post
with a reference to a "little gem" and then bracketing the quote with
++++++ signs had been a long standing personal trait of his.
Unfortunately, that party didn't furnish us with the name of the NG
where he routinely posts using that weird style. As far as I know, it
has only appeared in rec.boats twice- and only once by trhe party
involved. Assuming there is a NG where that party routinely posts with
a reference to a "gem" and then brackets quotes with +++++++'s, then
that statement would also be an observation, and not a lie.

And after all his accusations about others being you he is now spinning his
story that this Skipper *most likely is* you. Hee-hee-hee.

This month long saga between Chuckles and you has been nothing short of
hysterical. He sure has had his shorts in a knot during that entire time.

The *real* Chuck Gould has been uncovered.

You know, you really are screwed up enough to be Cave Mann, Psuedo.
Masterful snipping of the post in your response. That was a
particularly favorite dirty trick of the pre-stroke Skipper.
