Don,
The truth is very easy to verify. "Don White" wrote in message ... Starbucker wrote: I have a good idea why Harry and Chuck want to pretend it is not you. I do find it funny that Don and Kevin jump on the Harry bandwagon so quickly. I wonder if they really believe it or just want to say "Attaboy" as they high 5 Harry. Could be that they high-five Krause because that's all they know? -- Skipper |

Don,
Let's be honest, truth has nothing to do with it. If you were seeking the truth Harry's lies about his wife, his boat and his life would have offended you by now. "Don White" wrote in message ... Starfocher Smithers' only purpose in rec.boats is to see if he can successfully "hector" me and a couple of others. As Yoda would say, dumb as a stone Don White is. Alway? ALWAY?? Sheesh!!! When I was reading Smithers' posts, I noticed... You noticed? Now that's is quite an accomplishment for a liberal. -- Skipper |

Out of about 100,000 posts to the NG, (only) a few hundred were boating related...or some bad advice about turning a boat into a floating bomb by lining the gunwales with portable gas cans. The rest were right wing "talking points" from national radio shows, and the occassional racist and/or anti-semitic comment. Congrats on your whiny bitchy personal remarks, Chucky. After all, this is the prevaricating rad/lib shyster that we are getting to know so very very well: http://tinyurl.com/8tt8k -- Skipper Congrats to you on finally becoming poisoned on your own manure stew, Psuedo. You have such a compelling need to find somebody to tear down that you turn yourself into an ENORMOUS LIAR.....(if you need that explained, I'll be happy to do so)....just to create a ruse for yakking on that I'm dishonest in business. Remember this from about 5 years or so ago? Skipper wrote: I've shared that tale with the NG previously. So, one more time... We became interested in two boats in the Seattle area a while back. One was a 53 Skookum and the other was a 48 Northcoast, two completely different boats. Chuck had offered to represent our interests for boats in this area. However, I felt an obligation to the brokers we had previously made contact with and continued negotiating with the Northcoast and Skookum brokers. The admiral preferred the Northcoast and I preferred the Skookum. A few weeks went by as the Admiral made convincing arguments for the Northcoast. I called the broken to make an offer and was told the boat had just been sold. Had we retained Chuck to represent our interests, I believe that disappointment could have been avoided. Two more weeks went by as I made the case for the Skookum in Anacortes. The Admiral finally relented and I called the listing broker. Good news, the boat was still available and as the boat had been for sale for over a year with no takers, the broker thought our offer would be accepted. He called the next day to say he had spoken with the owner's wife and that she had accepted the deal pending her husbands return (was ferrying a Nordhavn to Hawaii). We thought the deal was done. A week passed with no new information so I started calling daily. We were repeatedly told to rest assured and that the owner's return was just a "formality", and "his wife had accepted the offer". Well, we went through 4 weeks of this uncertainty, unable to schedule reservations for the flight out to close. Finally, we called one day to learn that the broker had just gone on vacation and the boat was sold to someone else for $10,000 more than we had offered and they were returning our check. We had been lied to and this guy was using our offer to conduct an auction, IMO. I also believe that had we hired Chuck to represent our interests this sad tale could have been avoided. End of Skipper wrote. I know I asked if you were lying then or lying now, and you chose "lying then". (It's inconsistent with your character to tell lies in order to compliment somebody). Even so, you frankly admit being a liar so you have balls the size of the NBA accusing somebody else of being dishonest. |

"Lloyd Sumpter" wrote in message ... Hi, I've been frequenting a wonderful fishing forum full of great local folks, but I've been wishing for a similar board for boating. I've seen a few "Canadian" forums, but they all seem centered around the east (as is can.rec.boating). Is there a boating forum with a West-coast flavour? If not, I'm thinking of setting one up. Anyone wanna join? Lloyd Sumpter "Far Cove" Catalina 36 What would a "West Coast Boating Forum" have that this ng doesn't have? |

Don,
Why don't you ask your good buddy to send you a copy of his Lobster Boat Registration papers. He did that for someone who questioned his Parker Ownership. "Don White" wrote in message ... Don can't challenge Harry, if he did then Don wouldn't have someone to
lookup to and emulate anymore. "Starbucker" wrote in message ... Don, Why don't you ask your good buddy to send you a copy of his Lobster Boat Registration papers.
