Don,
The only person I know in rec;boats, who used a sock puppet to try to carry on a conversation with himself was Harry Krause. The only problem is Harry forgot his IP was included in the post. As you can imagine the sock puppet was asking Harry about this nice looking Lobster Boat he saw in the Ches. Bay. "Don White" wrote in message ... So what sized outboard did you end up with for that inflatable, and did performance meet your expectations? Lloyd, don't deprive all of us Central Canadians (Pat, our un-moderator, is from Ottawa, still a thousand miles from the "East") of your occasional discussions of Wet Coast boating. I read them all! But I visit enough forums, wouldn't add another to my list. Charles Oh, I've given up on this forum for boating a long time ago! And trust me, Ottawa is EAST! Reminds me of when I was driving across Canada and got to Toronto. Most folks there said I was about 1/2-way across - make that 3/4! ![]() Lloyd |

Sounds like an idea. I can't find anyone on the Canadian west coast,
either. Not on line, that is. ;-) e "Lloyd Sumpter" wrote in message news ![]() Hi, I've been frequenting a wonderful fishing forum full of great local folks, but I've been wishing for a similar board for boating. I've seen a few "Canadian" forums, but they all seem centered around the east (as is can.rec.boating). Is there a boating forum with a West-coast flavour? If not, I'm thinking of setting one up. Anyone wanna join? Lloyd Sumpter "Far Cove" Catalina 36 |
