Default Boating Lake Powell - Rainbow bridge

Is it possible to powerboat to Rainbow Bridge from Wahweap in one day?

When I tried this summer, I ran out of time. The lake level was low
enough that we had to detour thru Antelope Point. I figure that cost a
least one hour each way, with the multiple no wake zones.

On a year with regular levels, is Rainbow bridge doable?

We did it easily a few years back, renting a 18 ft boat or so. I believe
it's 60 miles to Rainbow Bridge, and we spent the day, had a lot of time for
exploring along the lake's treasures and were absolutely awed. Would love to
do the house boat some year, just to spend the night out there. Can't speak
for low lake levels, There is a chance Rainbow Bridge marina is NOT
accessible when the water is down too low. Call to find out.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll return and try it again when it warms
up some.
