Personal Income, Construction Spending Up

By ALEKSANDRS ROZENS

NEW YORK - Manufacturing expanded in November in industries ranging from
apparel to tobacco, a widely watched survey showed on Thursday, and several
other reports painted a picture of a U.S. economy gaining strength. The
government reported that personal income and spending edged up in October,
construction spending rose that month and fewer Americans applied for
unemployment insurance last week _ all signs of a surprising resilience
after one of the worst hurricane seasons on record.

Construction is up because of the rebuilding after the hurricanes.

New home starts are up, and too soon after the hurricanes to have much
impact from them on new home starts. Still having to get insurance and job
settlements out of the way. You sound bitter, that the USA is not
completely tanked. You an operative for the enemy (whichever one)?

What's your opinion of Alan Greenspan, in general?

His wife is a lying bitch who's covering for her boss in the Plame
investigation.

What NYOB should have said is that Alan Greenspan's understanding and
command of economics is far greater than his ability to judge personal
character, as evidencied by his selection of his spouse.

What NOYB should've done was described how he feels about Greenspan's
understand of economics in general, and specifically THIS country's economy.

And, you still haven't explained your spew about Canada "not standing on its
own two feet". Can we now assume you were drunk when you said that, and that
you're (appropriately) too embarrassed to go near the subject again?
