After 3 years, the Stay and Sail permit on our yacht will expire next
year.

Does anyone know if it is a hanging offence not to have one?

Is it something that should be bought (from the local harbour master
for example) only if we get asked to produce it?

If it is essential that we have one, do you know where we get one
from?
