Anybody else notice how the corrupt liberal media has failed to report
on the massacre going on in China right now? Of course they wont report it because this would tarnish the image of the system they love so much. |

Interesting topic for the rec.boats forum...
It's broad sweeping generalizations like "Liberal Media Bias" that make it difficult for constructive discourse between groups with differing views. You can't believe everything that Rush tells you. Stop fueling the fire and make a real point. http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=2447 |

I'm curious then where you adopted the term "liberal media bias" or is
that simply your own perception? |

It's the truth... the media has taken upon a lot of Marxist views when contrasting with today's events. e.g. ================================================= http://tinyurl.com/bmrls How the ACLU and other secularist Grinches have almost stolen Christmas - and how you can fight back now The War on Christmas by John Gibson "Happy holidays!" Every time a supermarket checker or store clerk greets you with those words instead of "Merry Christmas," you have met another soldier in the war against Christmas. Secularists are bent on imposing upon us a neutered, secular winter holiday that throws out every trace of Christianity from the public observance of Christmas. It's all necessary, they tell us, to avoid offending non-Christians and, above all, to keep from violating the all-important separation of church and state. Meanwhile, Christians in America are increasingly marginalized and shunted aside. In The War On Christmas: How the Conspiracy to Subvert Our Most Sacred Holiday Is Worse Than You Thought, popular FOX News anchor John Gibson reveals that this is not happening because of some cultural consensus. On the contrary, he explains that a thorough and virulent anti-Christmas campaign is being waged today by liberal activists, ACLU fanatics, craven politicians, sinister agenda-driven educators, and witless media mavens. But for all their efforts, the Grinches have not won: plucky Christians are already fighting to retake their place in the public square. Gibson reveals just how bad things have become: in Illinois, state government workers were forbidden to say "Merry Christmas" while at work. In Rhode Island, local officials banned Christians from participating in a public project to decorate the lawn of City Hall. A New Jersey school banned even instrumental versions of traditional Christmas carols. And Arizona school officials ruled it unconstitutional for a student to make any reference to the religious history of Christmas in a class project. But according to Gibson, despite what the ACLU says, all of this is completely unnecessary from a genuine Constitutional perspective: the last thing on the Founding Fathers' mind when they wrote that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" was the banning of all public celebration of Christmas. What's more, the Left's campaign to infringe upon Christians' free exercise of their religion has not achieved total victory. Gibson shows how millions of Americans are starting to fight back against the secularist forces and liberal local officials. He shows you how you can help save Christmas from being twisted beyond recognition. The War on Christmas is a perfect gift for all those who want to restore Christianity to its rightful place in American public life -- give it to them with a hearty "Merry Christmas!" The War on Christmas reveals: - Proof: Christmas is under attack in such a sustained and strategized manner that there is without any doubt a war on Christmas - How the Constitutional concept of non-establishment of a religion has been twisted into a hostility to Christianity that is itself quite obviously unconstitutional - Common sight in American public schools every December: Hanukkah and Kwanza decorations proliferating everywhere, but nary a mention of Christmas - How the war on Christmas is not just being fought in loony-left blue state strongholds, but in the American heartland - The ACLU, ADL, and Americans for the Separation of Church and State: how they provide the legal muscle and contorted logic to anti-Christmas warriors while looking approvingly on public expressions of Islam, Hinduism, and Judaism - The ridiculous lengths to which the ACLU has gone in its war against Christmas and its quest to remove all vestiges of Christianity from public life -- including its argument that a rural Georgia school calendar that contained the word "Christmas" represented state endorsement of Christianity and was thus unconstitutional - Amateur constitutionalists who occupy positions of power in America, and are making up the law as they go along (often after being intimidated by the ACLU) - The ACLU lawyer who, on his lunch break, inspected a Christmas tree that had been set up in the Pennsylvania state capitol and found, among its thousand ornaments, three that were cross-shaped -- and promptly filed suit - How liberals stir up fears of aggressive Christians' turning public schools into religious organizations and America into a theocracy to gain support for their war on Christmas - How officials forbade a Texas schoolgirl to give other students goodie bags inscribed "Jesus is the reason for the season" - Roger Ailes: how he put identification breaks that wished viewers "Merry Christmas" on the air on Fox News stations -- to the shock and horror of the politically correct establishment - The throngs of lawyers who are now willing to take on the ACLU and defend Christmas - How Christmas has become the new litmus test of our nation's willingness to abide by its own Constitution, to make certain that people are free to express their religion without being told that they must keep their beliefs private and tucked out of sight ==================== Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. ;-) |

They were just contract workers for Wal-Mart who wanted one pee break every three days. Actually the word was they wanted out of a retail union and were killed during their protest against the retail union. ;-) The retail union thugs then marked their names in the snow noting the event like a dog would do at a fire hydrant. Keep up with the news Harry. ;-) |
