Default OT What were they thinking?

The first SB in Detroit resulted in a catastrophe because of the weather.
The NFL swore there would never again be a SB in a northern climate.

Here comes SB XL in all places........Detroit, MI again in friggin'
February.

Forecast?

http://tinyurl.com/a3fbw

A winter storm is heading their way and they will be lucky to avoid it.
Even if they do..........temperatures in the upper 20's and snow likely.

Nice going NFL. I think all the folks stuck in Detroit this weekend and
holding $1,000 tickets to the game on Sunday will get to stroll the town and
appreciate the great weather.......if they don't get killed or mugged.

Idiots!

The NFL rules state an average January high temperature of at least 50º
or a domed stadium. Personally, I liked the old time mud bowls and snow
bowls. With astroturf and exceptional groundskeepers the damn sport is
getting too clean, IMHO.
