OT What were they thinking?
The first SB in Detroit resulted in a catastrophe because of the weather.
The NFL swore there would never again be a SB in a northern climate. Here comes SB XL in all places........Detroit, MI again in friggin' February. Forecast? http://tinyurl.com/a3fbw A winter storm is heading their way and they will be lucky to avoid it. Even if they do..........temperatures in the upper 20's and snow likely. Nice going NFL. I think all the folks stuck in Detroit this weekend and holding $1,000 tickets to the game on Sunday will get to stroll the town and appreciate the great weather.......if they don't get killed or mugged. Idiots! |

Idiots! The NFL rules state an average January high temperature of at least 50º or a domed stadium. Personally, I liked the old time mud bowls and snow bowls. With astroturf and exceptional groundskeepers the damn sport is getting too clean, IMHO. |
