I am looking for an Atomic 4 gas engine for a sailboat. You know the Atomic
4,, the Universal Atomic 4 Gas,, aux for sailboats.

I need one that is running, might need a tune up but still has some life
left on it.

This is in the New England area. I am buying a sailboat in Maryland and it
has an AT4 in it now. The AT4 is no good. Needs a valve job.. my plan is
to get an AT4, get it tuned up, ready to go .. put it in the back of the
pickup and bring it to Maryland. A guy there will take out the old one [ I
will save for parts ] , and put in the one I am bringing down. I would not
go this direction except this is a purchase and this will make the buying
easier.

So, if you have an AT4 in the garage, or know someone who has one, or you
have a bunch of parts from one, such stuff as heat exchanger, carb, fuel
pumps, etc.. give me a call

As I said... I need an Atomic 4, parts for one, anything to do with one..

I will use whatever I can get to put together a working one.

If you do work on AT4's ,,, call me as well. I can use all the help I can
get.

westerbeke builds new diesel and gas replacements for the venerable
atomic 4. it may be cheaper than a rebuild, and certainly more
reliable.
