The requirements change all the time for each place. You need to check
with someplace like
Blue Water Book & Charts
1811 Cordova Rd
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 - 2130

(954) 763-6533

There are equipment requirements for some countries that you will need
to be up on as well as paperwork. Your best bet is to call blue water
an ask them. You can get all your charts there in one stop and as for
off shore sailing charts that don't need fine detail, you should ask
for their photo copy charts. You'll save a bunch of money like $6 for a
$35 chart.

Have fun on your trip

I should have said that the paperwork changes all the time. Often you
need specific papers in a format that the country wants and those are
often a choice of 2 or 3 formats depending on if you are commercial,
pleasure, or humanitarian. Ask blue water and they will set you right
