I need to replace the boots, and possibly some internal drive parts, as I
have a slight leak. How difficult is is to change the boots? Does anyone know of instructions on how to do this? tia |

Does anyone know of instructions on how to do this? tia It is not that difficult, but you will need some sort of overhead lift or hoist to hold the outdrive - unless you are superman..... Pull the outdrive and crawl under the boat and loosen the hose clamps and remove - putting back on is slightly more difficult. GET A MANUAL !!! When putting the outdrive back on, make sure you line up the shifter fork - I have put the outdrive on only to have to take it off again because the shifter was not lined up... |
