The best way to react to a troll is to ignore it if you don't want to
participate. Every response perpetuates the troll. Even net nannying helps
to keep it going.

Heck, Just expressing an opinion on something could be considered a troll.

Have a nice day, Chuck

How do you know it's a troll when some have opinions and lapses of judgment
so great that their statements REQUIRE response.

Letting Lies stand unchallenged give them legitimacy.

Extremely juvenile insult noted. Never expected crap like this from
Eisboch. Oh well, life is full of surprises.

You're right. Intended as a friendly jab, but in poor taste in retrospect.
My apologies.

Accepted, thanks.

What a sickening thought.

jps

Please don't get sucked in by this troll.

Why not? Are you trying to set standards for the newsgroup?

There is no reason for the newsgroup to be an inflammatory, name-calling,
slug fest. There are some folks who think it should be, and I hope you're
not one of them.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's a troll.

FWIW, it surprised the hell out of me too!

I figured it was a bit of a joke. Richard usually avoids the vast
majority of really bad crap here from a few unmentionable people.. so it
wouldn't make sense that he'd pick a fight with one of the 'more sensible'.
