Generally, every sail-powered vessel over eight feet in length and every motor-driven vessel (regardless of length) that is not documented by the U.S. Coast Guard which is used or on the waters of this state are subject to registration by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The vessel must be located in California. ---------------------- As your boat will be motor-driven at times, then yes, you must register it. Remember that Google is your friend. ;-) |

Yes, you *may* have to register the boat? What kind of answer is that Billy boy? Is an answer that says he may have to register the boat as it is on the cusp. Contact the DMV and they will answer the question for him! Is it called an 8' pram, while being 8'1" long, or is it 7'11" long. You smoking or drinking from the same well as Kevin? |
