Default Hitting trim cuts power to honda 135 OB-HELP!

I have an 05 Hurricane deckboat with an 05 Honda 135 outboard.
Periodically, not all the time while driving, idling, trailering, etc when i hit
the trim the engine will stop and all power to the boat interrupted.

I unhook the wires from the battery for 10 seconds, rehook them up,restart
the motor and take off as normal, wont happen again or all the time. To me
this signals some sort of relay or something is bad. When i unhook and
rehook the wires to the battery,i can almost hear some sort of click in the
motor like a relay turning on,etc.

Any ideas what this might be? I am 100 miles from my dealer and had the boat
delivered,i would really not like to have it shipped back to them if it's a
simple part.
Thanks for any help!
