Default Dumbass!

I've never seen anyone so indulged and repetetive on cramming any
subject down someones throat.

I appreciate Bass's comments and insight when I asked about
depthfinders for my nephews jon boat a few days ago. but thats about
the only boating content he's talked about in recent days.

seems there are huge streams of "JimH is a liar, JimH is a
lowlife..blah,blah,blah..."

To what value to anybody? i think none.

STFU already....... and get some help, you're obviously a very disturbed

Awe, how cute! I take it that you'd be the type of person that would
ALLOW someone to tell lies about you, your wife and kids? I also take
it that you are the type that would let someone untruthfully accuse
you, your wife and kids of horrific things? If so, you're a coward. I
stick up for my wife and my kids, unlike that low life JimH.

I think obviously most of us would stick up for our families, certainly
in person. In person, I doubt you have this problem often. On the
internet? I'm not sure what I'd do. It depends...on how serious I
think I should take him. On how anonymous we are--I mean how personal
can it be when you don't know the person that say things about you but
doesn't know you either, and you know he doesn't know you and he knows,
and everyone knows that nobody knows anybody here online...mostly.
Whew. Anyway, I guess it would depend, but I could see how I could
call the guy a jerk, don't worry about defending the obvious, and just
move on.

If we did know each other, or it got real personal, or something
private was exposed on the internet that shouldn't have been, or if it
got nasty in person, then we'd have some issues...that I would probably
follow up in person.

I guess most of us watching this fued thing go don't know what you're
talking about. The only thing I've really taken from this is the guy
doesn't like his former mechanic because he messed everything up, and
got the situation corrected with a new guy...but at one time he
defended his mechanic to some of you...and that was apparent a dumn
thing. Well, it is very common for people to want to defend there guy,
especially if the credentials part works out and they like him. That's
typical. That's a guy who is a loyal customer for life if you take
care of him. It's unhealthy to go out and 3 bid everything like in
industry engineering projects (and even then often not). If this isn't
the story, then as far as this thread is concerned, I'm lost. And I
don't find the need to follow every link from past threads, so I may
have missed something.

So, maybe a lot of us don't know anything about this slander towards
your family. The only reason I have a notion of it is because you
brought it up here. Maybe I'm in the minority. Don't know. If he
really did this, and you aren't exagerating things or misinterpreting
anything, then being frustrated makes sense. Do you know each other?
Is it a situation where it isn't already obvious it's just internet
smack talk? Are you just po'ed and find that its easy to strike back
on the internet? Other?

Fact is, no one really cares.

Put him in the KF like everyone else and stop responding.

I really doubt if it will happen, because I don't do anything to ****

So he made those statements in person?

It's libel, moron. So are your posts about a bipolar condition unless
you have facts that it's true.

You post like a narcissist.

Was that slander, libel, or the truth?

Go look it up...

Okay, just to prove how dumb you are
From
http://dictionary.law.com

slander
n. oral defamation, in which someone tells one or more persons an
untruth about another, which untruth will harm the reputation of the
person defamed. Slander is a civil wrong (tort) and can be the basis
for a lawsuit. Damages (payoff for worth) for slander may be limited to
actual (special) damages unless there is malicious intent, since such
damages are usually difficult to specify and harder to prove. Some
statements, such as an untrue accusation of having committed a crime,
having a loathsome disease or being unable to perform one's occupation,
are treated as slander per se since the harm and malice are obvious and
therefore usually result in general and even punitive damage recovery
by the person harmed. Words spoken over the air on television or radio
are treated as libel (written defamation) and not slander on the theory
that broadcasting reaches a large audience as much as if not more than
printed publications

Where does it say in there that slander has to be "in person"???
What you are getting confused about is that many times slander over the
air is TREATED as libel "on the theory that broadcasting reaches a
large audience as much as if not more than printed publications".
