Did you know the first one to call names is the loser?

Hey, ain't this OT political bull**** a lot of fun?

Can't imagine why the newsgroup is better off without it, can you?

Good thing we got rec.boats. Where else could one go on the internet to
talk about John Kerry, get sucked in by a guy peddling a highly snipped
sound byte, and call names all in the same day?

You're as pompous as Kerry. Go write a book or sell a boat or something.

pom·pous

ADJECTIVE:

1.. Characterized by excessive self-esteem or exaggerated dignity;
pretentious: pompous officials who enjoy giving orders.
2.. Full of high-sounding phrases; bombastic: a pompous proclamation.
3.. Characterized by pomp or stately display; ceremonious: a pompous
occasion.

Piling on additional insults after the original name calling merely
reinforces the portrait you're painting- of yourself.

Rather disappointing, Richard. I've apparently been misjudging you, and
in your favor, for a very long time.

But there's no point to f*k up the group with an extended discussion of
my personal shortcomings or how distressing it is to watch you lose
your self control. If you have something additional of a personal
nature to say to me, take it to email. I post with my real name and
email address, as you know.

Here's hoping you have a better day tomorrow.

Horrors! How can I possibly go on without your blessings and approvals?

If you've got the approval of the guy you see in the mirror each
morning, that's all you really need. He's the one you have to live
with. :-)

If you cannot see how his comment was upsetting to millions of Americans,
most importantly the men and woman who are serving or have served our
Country then you are hopeless Chuck. Even the Democrats have called his
remark pathetic and have asked him to crawl down his hole and stay there.

How do all of you right wingers know that he was talking about the
troops instead of the president? Listening to Hannity last night,
because I knew he'd be blowing veins in his forehead over this. his
response was that Kerry MUST have been talking about the troops because
he didn't mention Bush! Funny thing is, he didn't mention TROOPS
either. So, using that analogy, what WAS he talking about?
