Yeah, but I got an 80% on the test.
For awhile you were doing pretty good here. Now I see that you are
dumbing yourself down again.

80% is a B, isn't that good?
Thanks for making my point! Come on, you can dumb yourself down even
MORE, can't you?

OK, but 80% is better than 70%.
Cite?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percentage

So 35% unemployment is better than 4.5%?

Always, 35 is better than 4. See how easy this is.

Where'd he go?

Anyway, your lesson on percents from wikipedia was a knee jerk reaction. It
didn't prove that 80% was better than 70%, it just said it was bigger.
Bigger is not necessarily better, even if Paris Hilton says so.

I have to be honest with you, I think your comment about my wikipedia
link is a knee jerk reaction.

Probably some dumbass doing 70 miles/hour in a canal.

I thought this looked familiar:

So who got the speed right?

You will have to wait for the human radar to log back on. My guess is
8:00 or later on Monday...

That boy is easily wound up over nothing.

I could be wrong, but I think the driver fell out of the boat. And that
the boat was new. of course all the warranties expired on impact. I was
just glad no one was killed. and there was one less nut on the lake we
enjoy - for awhile anyway..

Capt Jack R..

I stand by my belief that it was a toothless Georgia redneck on a canal
and doing 70 mph. The boat reportedly (according to WCNZ TV, Atlanta)
had an experimental black box and the last words recorded were on it
"Hold my beer and watch what I can do". The news report went on to say
that this was not the first time this type of incident has happened,
although mainly occurring with bassboats. ;-)

Probably some dumbass doing 70 miles/hour in a canal.

Wrong again. Your knee-jerk reactions are always wrong.

90 mph?

Another idiotic knee-jerk reaction. And another wrong one.

100?

And you also, I wouldn't expect anything more or less than a kneejerk
reaction from you. Any thought or investigation from you and people
like Reggie and Calif Bill before your mouth (fingers) engage would
probably be impossible.

My knee did not jerk when I typed "100 mph".

And your brain didn't engage, neither.

Try "either" next time. You will look, and feel, much smarter than you
really are!

ps - Bassy, I am playing with you because you are taking this thing way
to serious. You really do need to sit back and enjoy life and not go
looking for a fight on every post. The OP comment was a comment made in
passing, it was not meant to be taken as the gospel.

No, but it was a knee jerk response. Most intelligent people THINK
before they make comments like JimH made. He does so consitently here.
Not long ago, he made a comment about a boating accident saying that
the people must have been drunk rednecks. Neither was the case.

"knee jerk" is the catch phrase of the day. Does that mean "childish"
and "bubble wrap" are gone forever? Stay tuned...

Was it an even 100 mph?

And of course.......another one. Wouldn't expect anything more from you.

Bassy was only doing 20mph in the stolen boat when he ran it up the
bank...

:-)
