Default Bucked the small craft warnings to go fishing and crabbing today.

The fishing was so-so. Did get the largest Cabazone I have seen in maybe 40
years. Dropped the crab pots on the wrong GPS point and got only rock
crabs, no Dungeness. Local commercial guy said the fishing has been off
since the Tsunami came through. Will post a couple of pics of the ocean
today over there. A few white caps about 11am and then got nicer and nicer.
Came back in at 28 mph.

Oops. missed the spelling.
Cabezon. A crab eating rockfish that is one of the best tasting fishies in
the ocean.

Cabazone = Cabazon = sculpin? Never seen it spelled that way.

Sorry about your lack of crab.

Oh, pro forma here.

Shut up. :)

Commercial season only opened Saturday, so most are still getting 5-6 per
pot. I should have pulled earlier and checked the pots and of rock crabs
moved the pots. Did not do that yesterday. Cabezon or Mottled Sculpin.
Scorpaenichthys Marmoratus.
