Crossing the US into Canada, via the Great Lakes.
A couple friends of mine were talking, and wondering what you would have to do, to boat from Canada to the US or vise-verse? I don't know, myself, but I do know there are some here that ahve propaply done so. Do you have to go though customs like in the highways? and is your cruising and/or sailing directed , or restricted only though certain ports? Waht IS the process? Just curious. Thanks! |

Upon arrival into Canada we would check in to Customs via phone at the marina. We would also apply for an I-68 prior to the trip. I did not read the new regulations but I would guess they are more restrictive. |
