Default Florida Teacher Gives Up Career after Playboy Mag Spread

http://content2.totallycrap.com/medi...ee/index2.html

This young lady, sadly, gave up teaching in high school after some
photos were published in Playboy. Another one of those strange Florida
cases, where any sort of violence is acceptable, but nekkid wimmins are
considered "preverted."

If I had a teacher like this in high school, I would have flunked a year
just to hang around a bit longer.

Something's stupid with this story. There's no way a magazine like Playboy
would *not* have provided her with the appropriate paperwork before
publishing the pictures. If she's pretending she didn't want them published,
she's either stupid, or a really bad liar.

My recollection is that she took the photos some years ago, while still
in college. She's not saying she didn't want the photos published. She's
gorgeous...I don't see any problem with the photos.

She'd put the wind in my jib.

According to this article, she wasn't fired, but quit because she wasn't
making enough money.

Ah, then the township is more morally unfit than I thought.

"Erica Chevillar has no regrets about her decision to pose for an
on-line bikini site. She makes $31,000 a year. She's living in Boca
Raton, where the cost of living has been wiping her out. She turned to
modelling bikinis to make a little extra cash."

$31,000 a year for a classroom teacher in Boca Raton?

What an insult.

Harry's trying to make it into a political story, when it's not.

Amen, even Calvert County pays more for a first year teacher.

Ha. Morally unfit to wear the same stuff her female students wear to the
beach. Ha. Sounds like fake saints working their evil again.
