Default Another Contender in my future..

At lunch today, Mrs. Wave decided that we have at least another
two/three years before the big move down south. At which point I
asked about the "cruiser" quest and I if needed to continue the
search.

It would appear that cruising is not in the cards (WHOO HOO!!!) for
the forseeable future as she is getting involved in several education
projects that will eat up her summer time for the next three years or
thereabouts.

So....

Here's what I'm thinking...

http://www.contender.com/boats.aspx?id=326

perhaps one one these - I've never owned one, but those I've seen, they
are the equal of a Contender.

http://www.pursuitboats.com/products...0Running_1.jpg

Then again, I could have the boat built locally - over in Bristol, RI.

http://www.bluefinboats.com/boats.php?bbId=26

or a custom made one of these...

http://northcoastboats.com/boat-26ft-console.html

Decisions, decisions.

Yeah, well...it's not my fault if you keep picking the wrong boats and
then selling them for another.

Did ya notice that none of the boats being considered are shown with E-tecs?

The Contender has Yamahas, by God!

He should buy my Scout.

True, but that doesn't mean that I can't put ETECs on one.

The Contender has Yamahas, by God!

True - which was an issue with the last one - the guy didn't believe I
wanted a bare boat, no rig so I could mount my own engines.

He should buy my Scout.

Nah - although...

http://www.scoutboats.com/models/262sportfish.html

Now that would look great with ETECs hanging off the back.

I didn't think it looked bad, even with the Yammerhammers.
