Here's a video of my son's buddy winning his Extreme Cage Combat fight at 17
seconds into the 1st round.
Note: his third fight... lost his first two last year.

around here...

Jesus - talk about a glass jaw - he barely touched him.

I think it was fixed. :)

Huh???

That was a solid hit with some pretty light weight gloves.

Look at it again - he barely touched him. The guys head didn't even
move. His arm was fully extended by the time he hit him - all the
power of the punch was already expended. It was almost accidental.

And the way they were both just throwing punches it was probably more
accidental than anything.

Glass jaw - pure and simple.

Yes, they were both throwing wild punches...........but one obviously was
dead on and resulted in a KO.

I boxed in my early days with boxing (much heavier and more padded) gloves.
.......that hit would not have been a KO but you would have felt it. With
those light weight (non existent) gloves it is a new game.

Could you survive a bare knuckle hit like that from a guy with that weight?
I doubt it but if you did you would be seeing stars and set up for a final
KO punch.

Hey, in the end...............who cares anyway.

True...but my son said Craig sure was excited after. In his very first
fight he had to tap out and in his last fight he took quite a beating...so
this one was sweet for him. You're right about those gloves... not much
padding to minimize the blow.
My son had another buddy on the same card who had to tap out when caught in
an arm hold. Up till then it was fairly even. Sure glad Robbie didn't
decide to get involved in that sport. I can't handle him now!
